Luau!

Jay and I got to go this this amazing luau right at the resort. The food was excellent and the show was so entertaining! We had a great time!

Dophin Catamaran Tour!

By far, one of our most fun outings was a catamaran tour we took. We got to snorkel with dophins and sea turtles and they made us lunch on the boat. Oh and of course we had a little dance party:) It was such a fun day! Ethan even snorkeled!

Waikiki Beach

One evening we went to Wakiki Beach to walk around and check out the interesting night life. There was one bird performer who was particularly entertaining and the kids loved it. By the time we got to dinner, Ethan was exhausted! He literally fell asleep in the middle of eating his spaghetti! It was pretty funny.

They had several special kids activities, including the mermaid who read them a story, painted their faces and went swimming with them. It was pretty funny actually!

The beach at the resort was beautiful and it was just out our door, so we went to the beach pretty much every day, to lounge, play, read, sleep, swim - just hang out. It was beautiful and so much fun!

Halona Blow Hole

After Diamond Head, we stopped by the Halona Blow hole, which is really cool. It is a hole in a rock and when the waves crash in, the water shoots up through the hole. Apparently it is really impressive in the winter, but it was pretty cool even in the spring, and just a beautiful view.

Diamondhead

We left the little ones at home and took a day to hike up Diamond Head, which is a crater from a volcano. It was a really cool hike and at the top is a lookout area that was actually used during WWII as a look out. It was such a beautiful view from the top! Someone got sick at the top and the medics made a daring helicopter rescue. They lowered a basket and loaded the girl onto it and flew her down the mountain. It was pretty windy, so they had a hard time doing it, but were finally able to do it.
