Swimming

Ethan is a really good swimmer and basically has no fear of the water. We haven't decided if that is a good thing or a bad thing yet. Here are some videos of our little fish in action!

Ethan's 2nd Birthday Party

Here are pictures from Ethan's 2nd birthday party. We invited all of his friends over for a pool party and everyone had a great time. It was a perfect day and I can't believe he is 2!

At the park!

These were taken at Clemyjontri Park, a very cool park that we go to frequently. They had a great time and Syndey was nice enough to feed Ethan raisins for lunch. They are so fun!

Ethan and Sydney at the zoo!

Here are some cute pictures of Ethan and Sydney at the zoo - the funniest part was when Sydney decided to start carrying Ethan's leash and she was leading him around the zoo. Very cute.

Chama's New Golf Course!

So my little town of Chama has become big time - they are getting a golf course. Well, sorta. There is a course being built literally up in the mountains. So most people don't actually know about it. But my dad has some property next to it, so we had to go check it out. They have the first 3 holes done, so we did a little putting. The second picture is a view from the road that my dad built that leads to where the golf course is.

Throwing rocks in the pond

This is the pond behind my parent's house in NM and this was definitely Ethan's favorite part of NM. Literally he could spend hours just throwing rocks in the pond!!!

Family Time

The best part about our boating trip is just getting to spend time with the fam. It is hard now that we are all so spread out, but I love when we can get together like this and just have fun. It was a great time!

Cliff Jumping

Cliff jumping is a tradition when we go to Navajo. This year we didn't find quite as good of cliffs, but this was still fun!

Raft Football

Probably the favorite activity this year was playing football on the floating island my parents brought along. This little innertube island was surprisingly difficult to balance on, especially when you get 10 or so people on it! We realized later that the raft had a wieght limit of 714 lbs (I know pretty specific). We figure we easily doubled that weight limit (I mean with Jay alone we were pusing the limits here- that was for you Mac and Court - getting him back for all those fat jokes), but the raft held up just fine! There were a few injuries, but nothing serious. Here's some pics of us trying to catch the ball on the raft and one of my bro throwing the ball to us from the shore.

How Ethan Spent his time....

Ethan wasn't so sure about the water. He loves swimming in the swimming pool, but I think the lake was a little much for him. So this is how he spent most of his time - collecting sticks, playing in the sand and decorating the jet skis with sand. He just loved that mom actually let him play in the dirt all he wanted!

Boating 2008

The next few posts will be all about our awesome boating trip to New Mexico last week! We had a great time and luckily noone got seriously injured or sunburned, which is basically how I describe a successful boating trip. Here's my dad trying a life jacket that I determined was a tad bit too small, but made for a great picture. Then theres a pic of Jay corrupting our son by letting him guzzle soda the entire weekend.
