Sledding!

We have only had a couple of good snow fun days this year, but we have made the best of them! This day we went to a friends and went sledding - it was tons of fun and Avery was even enjoying it.

My talented friend Jill (who has taken our family pics for the past 2 years) took these pics of Avery and they turned out so cute. I can't believe how fast time is flying by! These pics were taken when she was about 13 months. What a cutie!

New Years Day 2011

On New Year's Day we went downtown to see the train display at the National Botanical Gardens. The kids loved it, but even more, they loved feeding the pigeons outside of the Capitol. It was such a fun day! We don't get downtown quite as much anymore and everytime I go I am reminded of what an awesome area we live in and how lucky we are to be so close to DC.

New Years Eve 2011

For New Years Eve, we went bowling with the Thuesons and had a great time! Afterward, we had pizza and let the kids play. We tried to let them stay up to watch the ball drop, but it was a little too much for Ethan! He didn't quite make it!

Christmas 2010!

Ethan was thrilled with the Pillow Pet that Nana and Papa got him!
Jay got a gun - if you know my dad you will know that he couldn't resist arming my husband:)
Avery got a doll, which she loves!
Ethan was in heaven with all of these presents!
