Halloween 2010!

I feel like this Halloween came so fast! We had a great Halloween, going Trick or Treating at a local shopping center and then going to our ward's Trunk or Treat party. Ethan was the coolest Spiderman I ever saw and he loved this costume! He was so excited to be Spiderman and besides wearing it for Halloween, wore it around our house one night doing super cool Spiderman moves and tricking mom and dad by transforming back and forth from Spiderman to Ethan. It was really funny! And Avery was just about the cutest little bunny I have ever seen! She had so much fun at the ward party, wandering around stealing candy and other fun things from all over the place. She is just so cute right now! I just love watching her walk around because she seems too small to even be walking! I actually dressed up, even though it was your basic witch, but pretty good for me! I never dress up! And Jay was back in his standard baseball player costume - practically a Halloween tradition at this point! But he looked great! It was a great Halloween!

Family Photo Shoot 2010!

So my friend Jill, who took our pictures last year also, is an amazing photographer and we had her do some family pictures this year again. Despite being a pretty windy and cold day (we must have bad luck because last year it rained on our photo day), the pictures turned out awesome! It was a lot of fun and the kids look adorable!!

Avery's Eating Adventures!

Here are a few funny pictures of Avery's eating adventures. We gave her an Oreo cookie for the first time the other day and she loves them! Jay is so proud because she takes them apart and eats the creme. And this was one day she was so exhausted that she fell asleep in the high chair! She is so funny and makes me laugh everyday.

Fall Soccer

This fall Ethan played in our community's soccer league. Jay was one of the coaches and they had so much fun! He made some progress and most importantly had a great time. This was his first time playing on an outdoor league. I loved watching him play and will miss his games now that the season is over! Plus he looks so adorable in his cute little soccer outfit!

Pop-Pop and Nonna in Town!

Pop-pop and Nonna (Jay's parents) came into town and we had a great time having them here. But of course we put them right to work doing yard work - they had to earn their room and board right? Just kidding! They insisted on helping us get some things done around the house and we are so grateful for it! Ethan loved having them here and Avery got to know them and had so much fun playing with them! Thanks for coming Nonna and Pop-Pop!

First Day of School!

Ethan started preschool in October! Last year we did a co-op preschool, which he loved (and occasionally still asks if he can go to again). But this was his first year of a real preschool. He is getting so big and it was a little emotional for me leaving him that first day! But he is having a great time and making new friends. He is always excited to go and loves showing me his fun art projects when he gets home. He is such a handsome little guy!

Pumpkin Festival

Every year we go to this really fun Pumpkin Festival and Ethan has so much fun on the slides. This year we went with some friends and it was so much fun! Here is Ethan's favorite slide - the dinosaur slide. There are 6 lanes so we can all race. Avery even got in on the fun and had a good time on the slide, though I think she was more terrified than anything! We also did the hay ride, which Ethan really seemed to like!
