Apple Picking

We also went apple picking with some friends.  Ethan had a great time eating lots of apples, climbing trees with friends and just running around.  

Watching TV with Auntie Misty...Sorta

After we got back from Florida, Ethan missed his Auntie Misty. So one day I put on a video for him and he suddenly jumps up and says "Auntie Misty!".  He runs and grabs a picture we have of her and sets it up next to him on the couch and watched TV "together".  It was the cutest thing!

Aquatica

On our last day in Orlando we went to Aquatica, a really fun water park.  Ethan had a great time, but I am pretty sure the grown ups had the most fun - my 2 sisters and my niece and I went on a ton of fun water slides and had a blast.  It was such a great vacation!

Disney's Animal Kingdom

On Day 3 we went to Disney's Animal Kingdom.  It is such a cool park - the highlights were definitely the animal safari where we rode on a cool hummer type truck through and "African safari" with real animals and the Lion King musical show, which is like a mini version of the Broadway show.  It was amazing.  And this funny looking monkey guy kept making funny faces at Ethan (we were front row) and even came over and took a picture with him right in the middle of the show.  And once again, like at Sea World, Ethan's favorite activity was playing in the water  I went on one ride and left him alone with my mom and I come back to Ethan soaking wet in his regular clothes - with no back-up clothes on hand.  Grandma's are trouble.0

Disney World

Disney World was a blast.  Probably Ethan's favorite cartoon is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so basically he was in heaven.  He got to meet all of his favorite characters, and as you can see he wasn't shy.  He was so excited to meet Pooh - it was worth the 45 minute wait.  I am just loving it now that Ethan is a little older and we have so much fun on outings like this.  By the end of the day he was beat - but I guess 13 hours at Disney World will do that to a little guy!

Sea World

In September we were able to take trip to Florida to meet my mom, my 2 sisters and my niece Misty for a little girl's week in Orlando.  We had a blast and definitely didn't waste a minute.  On day 1 Misty and I went to Sea World.  It was so much fun and Ethan absolutely loved the fish.  But I think what he enjoyed most was the fountain play area.  In fact we missed the Shamu show because I couldn't drag him away from the water fun.  

Raspberry Picking

This is actually from a few months ago, but I am getting caught up on posts.  On this day we went raspberry picking with some friends - it was so much fun and Ethan had a great time with his friends.
