Disney World

Disney World was a blast.  Probably Ethan's favorite cartoon is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so basically he was in heaven.  He got to meet all of his favorite characters, and as you can see he wasn't shy.  He was so excited to meet Pooh - it was worth the 45 minute wait.  I am just loving it now that Ethan is a little older and we have so much fun on outings like this.  By the end of the day he was beat - but I guess 13 hours at Disney World will do that to a little guy!

Sea World

In September we were able to take trip to Florida to meet my mom, my 2 sisters and my niece Misty for a little girl's week in Orlando.  We had a blast and definitely didn't waste a minute.  On day 1 Misty and I went to Sea World.  It was so much fun and Ethan absolutely loved the fish.  But I think what he enjoyed most was the fountain play area.  In fact we missed the Shamu show because I couldn't drag him away from the water fun.  

Raspberry Picking

This is actually from a few months ago, but I am getting caught up on posts.  On this day we went raspberry picking with some friends - it was so much fun and Ethan had a great time with his friends.

The Dodgers are in town!

The Dodgers are in town, so we made it to our first game this year. The new Nationals Stadium was great and we had a blast. Ethan enjoyed his 2nd ever baseball game (first ever Dodger's game though) and I get the feeling this is the first of many more to come for these two Dodger's fans!

County Fair and Demolition Derby

We made it to the county fair this year, which turned out to be an absolute blast. After taking in somewhere around 5,000 calories in mostly trans-fats (no trans-fat free food here!), we saw all the animals and then topped the evening off with the Demolition Derby. I had never been to a Demolition Derby before and couldn't believe how crazy it is! Here are a few pictures to give you an idea of the craziness of this event. These guys are nuts!

Sprinkler Park!

We discovered this sprinkler park nearby and it is our new favoirte outing. Ethan loves the water and runs all day. This day we went with one of Ethan's favorite friends, Jane. They had a blast!

Beach Trip

Here are some pictures from our recent trip to Rehoboth Beach. We had a great time and Ethan loved the water. I made a last minute purchase of some of those cheap little G.I. Joe army men at the grocery store and they were quite the hit - with Ethan and Jay. Apparently Jay says they are a staple favorite of every boy who has lived for the past 30+ years. So Ethan had to have them. They had a blast building little forts and pretending little wars. Boys, boys, boys. I don't know what I am going to do with them. All this fun sure wore Ethan 0ut though. As you can see he fell asleep holding tightly to his favorite snack. Good nutrition is a priority in this family!
